However, if your fuser is still good, a LaserJet 2300 Paper Jam Kit is a cost effective solution. Rollers tend to wear out at the same rate, often before the fuser needs replacing.

The rollers in tray x have worn out. x is the number of the tray, where 2 = Tray 2 and 3 = Tray 3. Replace the rollers.

Solving 41.3 Unexpected Size in Tray XX error 

Double-check both the page size specified in the application, the paper size set for the tray, and the paper in the tray. These three areas should match. (ANY/ANY works for tray size setting for all sizes).

Typical jam causes

Occasionally, media can become jammed during a print job. The following are some of the causes:

Trays are loaded improperly or overfilled causing paper to jam
Tray 2 or Tray 3 is removed during a print job causing paper to get stuck in the printer
The top cover is opened during a print job

Common Issues

Pick-up rollers wear out - causing repeated paper jams
Separation rollers wear out - causing multiple sheets to feed at the same time
Transfer rollers wear out - causing poor print quality

Paper not picking up

Maintenance kits are available for LJ 2300, however, it may not be time yet.  Fuser's for this printer last longer than the rollers.  If you have a screw driver & needle nose pliers and feel like you tackle this project, buy a LaserJet 2300 feed roller kit, otherwise known as a paper jam kits and do it yourself.
