RM1-0524 laser scanner is located under the ADF and scanner assembly and under the output bin cover of the main printer body. To get to the scanner you will need to remove all the covers, the ADF and scanner assembly the scanner will be visible after you remove the output bin cover under the ADF and scanner assembly. The scanner is held in by four screws and one ribbon cable that connects to the formatter board.
